Hypnosis is a natural, yet altered, state of mind where the critical factor of the mind is relaxed and selective thinking is maintained. The relaxed critical factor facilitates communication between the conscious and the subconscious mind; therefore, the doorway to the subconscious mind is opened. In this relaxed state, mental absorption is increased, the senses are heightened and the inner mind is more receptive to acceptable and beneficial suggestions. Suggestions are made while you are in this “altered state of focused attention.” Selective thinking is commonly experienced as focused concentration. Hypnosis is not only a state of physical and mental relaxation, but it also provides therapeutic intervention.
Hypnotherapy is entirely client centered. It’s a collaborative work between the hypnotherapist and the client to help client achieve their goals. The client is in control and I am simply the guide. I design my hypnotic inductions specifically to fit my client’s needs. I make clients an approximately 20 minute long hypnosis recording.
Hypnotherapy helps client change negative or limiting beliefs and emotional patterns, end unwanted habits and cultivate new and healthy habits, improve self-esteem, rejuvenate the body, and tap into the inner wisdom or inner intelligence.
Hypnosis is naturally occurring state. Hypnosis is self-hypnosis. It’s easy to learn and practice. Hypnosis has an extraordinary quality of mental, emotional and physical relaxation.
